WHY YOU NO SPEAK ENGLAND GOOD?

Well kids; Sarah's been slacking again. Something fierce. I still owe people at the VAA a bundle of lines and haven't looked at the Captain Obvious radioplay in a fair while because I promised myself I wouldn't work on it until I got a job. _{Oh did I mention I got fired?} This has resulted in a lot of time to slob around the house.

Rather than using said time productively, I've spent hours getting progressivly worse at Tekken.

I've been on a tremendous artblock for months now, and I don't actually recall the last time I drew anything half decent. QUICK SOMEONE CALL THE WAMBULENCE- nah I'm kidding~ Artblocks used to get me all grouchy, now I just accept them and hurl the occasional pencil across the room. But I really do need to get back into the swing of drawing again~ Even the most simple things are... impossible~ 8D;;; I was never THAT good, but now even a muddy pawprint on my paper looks stunning~

On a lighter note, it has given me oppertunity to practice my writing style, that I'm sure will be put to good use in pornography stories. Should I get off my arse and write them. GOD I'M SO LAZY.

Now if you'll excuse me I'm gonna go watch some Jeremy Kyle. Mmmmm~ Retards~

GOOD NEWS, KIDS. SARAH GOT A JOB.
I work in a well known chocolate store, where one of my roles is to "ice the chocolate". HOW DOES THAT WORK? Well caps lock, I'll tell you. You have a piping bag (I think that's what its called) with icing in it, which you guide into letters on your chocolate figure of choice. This can be anything from names, to birthday greetings or any other message the customer requests.

I've been practicing my icing on a plastic version of a chimp, hence the hilarious title, but I simply don't have the technique. I struggle to get the spacing between letters right, and even when trying to ice a simple shape, the consistancy seems to change so you get thick bits and then NOTHING.

SO. Does anyone have any tips for icing?
If not, no worries, I'm off to youtube to watch the pros.

DID YOU MISS ME?
Of course not, I was gone for 48 hours, tops.

But Sarah, where have you been? Did you get anything for me?
Sadly, I don't return with gifts. I do however return £200 lighter and without any of my programs. On Thursday my computer completely died. On it's arse. The bitch simply won't boot up. Being as muggins here didn't think to backup in case of emergancy; everything's gone. Minus my games. Thank God. If I lost TF2 and L4D I'd have to become an hero.

However, previously mentioned £200 is a substancial amount of my savings. I'm thankful that my parents met me half way of the funds for a computer, but I still have to pay them another £100 back for their trouble. Without a job, this is a very tricky task. I'm either going to have rob a bank or don my fishnets and roam the streets late at night. I prefer the first option.

But Sarah, why are you telling us this?
Well children, here's the thing. Being as I can't boot up the old PC, I've lost all my Captain Obvious stuff. The almost-half-done episode 2 as well as the scripts I had for episodes 4 and 5. Most importantly, the software I was using to adjust any volume issues was a "one computer only" deal. Although I could start again with new sound, music, etc being as I have the voices saved in e-mails (thank goodness!) I'm going to have to wait a while before I can afford to replace my software.

I could always attempt to rush it on free trials, but I don't want to ruin the quality by not giving the episode the love and attention it deserves. So, it's with a hint of sadness and a healthy dose of fury - I'm having to put Captain Obvious on hold. I'm sorry to the... 3 fans the series has here~ I'll try and get it up and running again as soon as humanely possible.

Now to tell my cast. *gulp*

1. I have the shortest attention span in the world. The exception being when I'm talking to people. When it comes to writing/drawing/being creative I lose faith in what I'm doing or simply can't be bothered and move on to something else. Rinse and repeat. This also means I do an awful lot of "I'LL DO THIS." then never act on it~ 8D
2. I really want to be a good voice actor one day. My poor quality mic and lack of vocal variation is really holding me back though. That and the fact I'm slap bang in the middle of England where there aren't any professional oppertunities isn't helping~ That doesn't mean I'm going to give up though, it'll always be a fantastic hobby.
3. My behaviour becomes obsessive rather quickly. Which tends to result in weird fangirling. This isn't just exclusive to fictional characters, but real life romances too. _{And then I wonder why they don't happen very often.}
4. I cannot stand people that don't wash. A shower doesn't take long, and if you still smell like you've been dragged through raw sewage you need to be shot. And that's that. I'm also very paranoid about my own hygine/apperance. I have been known to hide away on days where I've felt ugly and just refused to leave the house.
5. When I'm happy (especially if I have a little crush or something~) I sing and dance spontaneously, quite often hugging people that get too close. This is a dangerous ritual though as it's often followed by a frightening mood plummet where I scream at things and go on about how terrible my life is~
6. I have a habit of getting in internet relationships when my little head can't cope with distance. However, when I DO have a face-to-face relationship I get worried I'm just going to end up hurting the poor bastard and make up some excuse to break up with them no matter how much I care deep down. Then I have a habit of remembering these things nearly 5 years later~ *hit* But yeah, that's my stupidist break up. By far. Fun fact right? These are all quite depressing actually, let's have some nice ones~
7. I'm always wearing a ring on the middle finger of my right hand. Which ring it is will alternate. I have a ring my grandad bought for me a few before he died, so I keep that on most of the time as a sign of respect. Then there's another ring my nan got for me for my 18th that she bullies me into wearing whenever I see her. It's pretty, so I don't mind, I just feel like I owe it to grandad to wear the one from him. SENTIMENTAL FOOL, EH?
8. I still can't tell the time. XD;; Well, not very well at least. If it's not on the hour, quarter past, half past or quarter to I have to stare at the clock for a while to try and figure it out. This probably has something to do with my general poor mathematics knowhow.
9. A lot of people come to me for advice, and I do kind of see that as my role. However, over the past year I've become pretty snappy and if I think people are being stupid/getting upset over trivial things I no longer hesitate in telling them. Some people love me for this trait, others have run like hell~ 8D
10. I like to paint my nails because it makes me feel like I'm all grown up~ *hit* No seriously, it's a real pick me up when I want to feel pretty. I don't wear make up though if I can help it, unless I'm going for a job interview or out somewhere fancy. I just don't see the point in losing an extra 10 minutes of sleep to apply the damned stuff. That and if I start wearing make-up every day, I know I'll become dependant on it and I'll go back into my "ugly day" hiding habit~
